During a meditation Petra Schneider and Gerhard Pieroth received a "job offer" of a different kind: To bring subtle energy in the form of essences into the world. Despite doubts and fears, they launched the project LichtWesen©.
First, they made the essences only for themselves, for their own development, to release energetic blockages and to live more consciously. Then they distributed these to friends. Only when feedback and tests clearly showed that these energetic remedies were not only powerful for them, did they have the courage to offer them. A friend lent them money for the high initial investment. Banks had not given any money for something that "fancy". In November 1995, the first essences were born: the 21 LichtWesen©-master essences.
In the beginning, the founders did everything themselves, from mixing to bottling to packing and carrying the shipments to the post office. The project grew slowly at first. The first years were a constant calculation. Repeatedly Petra and Gerhard had to see if the revenue was enough to pay the rent and to make the necessary investments for growth. The number of users increased steadily; especially when they realized that these spiritual products also supported them in the challenges of everyday life.
Today Dr. Petra S. Schneider leads the company LichtWesen© and does energize all LichtWesen©- products.
Dr. Petra Schneider
studied and received her doctorate in Agricultural Science at the University of Bonn. In 1990 she completed additional training for teaching, administrative activity and consulting. Her career started as a civil servant at the Chamber of Agriculture. There she dealt with issues of environmental protection in agriculture and with issues connected to degradation of lignite and village development necessitated by the dismantling.
During this time, she was deeply concerned with the meaning of her life. As a result, she realized that her job did not bring life to life. She quit the secure, lifelong position and began to focus on subtle energies, meditation, and opportunities for holistic self-development. These included training in energy work, Reiki teacher, NLP practitioner, meditation teacher.
Petra Schneider is the managing director of the LichtWesen© AG (Incorporated)and is offering seminars on various topics, all of which have the topic of developing one's own abilities, energetic work and self-discovery. She is an author, writes articles for trade magazines and books on energies that have become bestsellers at home and abroad.
Gerhard K. Pieroth
Gerhard K. Pieroth is an engineer, consultant, holistic success coach and teacher of meditation and energy work. He is a co-founder of LichtWesen AG and left the company in 2024.
