About LichtWesen
The founders: Dr. Petra Schneider and Gerhard K. Pieroth
During a meditation in 1993, Dr. Petra Schneider and Gerhard Pieroth received a “job offer” of a very unusual kind: to bring ethereal energies into the world in the form of essences. In spite of their initial doubts and fears they started the project “LichtWesen” – the German name for the being of light within a human.
Initially they produced the essences only for themselves: for their own path of resolving energetic blockages and living more consciously. Then they started to provide them to friends. They only found the courage to offer them publicly after feedback and tests clearly demonstrated that these energised tools were having very powerful effects for other people, too. A friend lent them the money they needed for the high initial investment: banks would not have given them a credit for an idea which was so “out of touch with the real world”. In November 1995 the first essences went public: the 21 Master Essences.
At the beginning the founders did everything themselves, from mixing to filling or packing and taking the packages to the post office. The project grew slowly at the beginning. The first years were dominated by calculations as Petra and Gerhard repeatedly had to calculate whether the income was enough to pay the rent and make the necessary investments for further growth. The number of users rose steadily, especially as they realised how beneficial these spiritual products were proving to be during the challenges of everyday life.
LichtWesen products are now being used by a wide variety of people in many different countries. The quality and effects of LichtWesen products have been repeatedly tested, and they have received several distinctions at trade fairs. At the HarmonyWorld trade fair LichtWesen as a company even received an award for “serving as a role-model”, and for being a firm which “stands out because of its unusual level of professionalism, integrity and creative courage”. This expresses very well the intentions shared by everyone in the LichtWesen team.
Today, Dr. Petra Schneider manages the LichtWesen company and energises all LichtWesen products. Gerhard Pieroth is responsible for expanding international sales, giving lectures and holding seminars.

How to become a harmonious team?
When we say that our company aims to help people recognise their own, true being, then this applies equally to everyday business life at LichtWesen. So we make use of the challenges we face in working together in order to promote our own personal development.
Many staff here have been working for many years at LichtWesen. A few have even been here for more than ten years. Some began on a casual basis and then their involvement grew with the company. That also means their responsibility grew and they helped to develop the new fields which the company now works in. We are proud of this.
Nonetheless, we are also a “normal” company with normal labour contracts, salaries and the normal differences to be found amongst people working together. After all, we are humans, not angels. Humans with the goal of living and working in a conscious and fulfilling way.
